Neatly Thrown Bowl Neatly Thrown Bowl I will create a neatly thrown bowl within a two week time span during ceramics class. The bowl will be a minimum of 4 inches tall and at least 3 inches in diameter it includes a trimmed foot and a belly. Bowl	Poor Doesn't meet the height and diameter requirements. The outside does not curve to match the inside. The exterior shows no sense of pride in the piece.	Fair Meets height and diameter requirements. The rim is not smoothly rounded. The exterior left places to be cleaned up after firing.	Good Bowl is at least 3" height and 5" diameter. The outside curve mimics the inside curve. The rim is even and rounded.. The exterior has been cleaned, smoothed .without muck and globs on the side.
Trimming	Poor Bowl has no trimmed foot or has a very thin base	Fair Has a trimmed foot but isn't neat.	Good The bowl has a foot that has been trimmed neatly. and is well defined. The foot places the bowl level.
Glazing And Design	Poor Insufficient glazing job. Sloppy with no regard to thickness and direction of brush strokes, or covering.	Fair Glazing has bald spots where the glaze was not applied carefully. There are spaces where the wasn't filled in.	Good Glazing was skillfully applied. The design coordinates with all the pieces of the dinner set.
Finishing	Poor The owner and firing temperature was not easily read. The glaze documentation does not specify the name, order, placement and number of layers of each glaze.	Fair The bowl bottom has a faintly visible identification of owner and firing temperature. The glaze documentation is vague as to the name, placement and order of layers of glazes.	Good The bowl bottom was clearly identified as to owner and firing temperature. The glazing documentation was accurately recorded as to color name, manufacturer's name , placement and order of the glazes.
