Cell Model Project Plant and Animal Cell Models Students must create a model of an animal that accurately represents the parts that help the cell function. Students should then create an analogy presentation on Keynote comparing the functions of cell parts to things in real life. Cell Structure 10 pts	Poor Inaccurate representation. Not all cell parts are represented and/or are not a representaion of its part.	Fair Representation of cell not fully accurate. Not all cell parts are represented or are not clearly represented.	Good Mostly accurate representation of cell. Cell parts are clear and all represented	Excellent Highly accurate representation of cell. Cell parts are very clearly and accurately represented.
Labels 10 pts	Poor Little or no labels. Numerous errors in cell part labeling.	Fair Missing labels or more than two spelling errors in labels of cell parts.	Good All parts are labeled appropriately with no more than two spelling errors in labels of cell parts.	Excellent All parts are labeled accurately with correct spellings in labels of cell parts.
Cell Analogies 10 pts	Poor Inaccurate or no analogies. Many spelling errors. Unable to read written definitions.	Fair Missing analogies or more than three errors in the functions of cell parts. May be hard to read due to messiness.	Good Most analogies are present and correct with no more than three spelling errors.	Excellent All analogies are present and correct with no more than one spelling error.
Neatness 10 pts	Poor Very messy. Numerous smudges on project. Most pieces attached improperly and/or falling off. Labels are extremely messy and difficult to read.	Fair Somewhat neat. Some effort in presentaion and labels, but still some areas that are smudged and/or unattached. Labels are fairly neatly written.	Good Neatly attached and labeled. Few smudges on paper, and all pieces securely glued down.	Excellent Exquisitely neat. Much effort and pride in presentation. Above and beyond expectations.
Creativity and Effort 10 pts	Poor Little creativity seen in design. Problems with planning and organization. Poor use of materials.	Fair Shows some creativity in design. Use of materials show signs of planning and organization.	Good Creative use of materials that show very good planning, organization and hard work.	Excellent Extremely creative design. Clever use of materials. Time management well used. Above and beyond expectations.
