	Needs Improvement Student is unable to complete all aspects of the assignment or give an explanation of how mountain are important to the country. 2 pts	Meets Expectations Student completed some aspects of the assignment and can give a basic explanation of why the mountains are important to this country. 3 pts	Exceeds Expectations Student completed all aspects of the assignment and shows a deep understanding of why the mountains are important to this country. 4 pts
Structure Student is able to construct a model that accurately represents the type of mountain they have chosen.	Needs Improvement Model does not resemble the type of mountain indicated by the student.	Meets Expectations Model somewhat resembles they type of mountain chosen by the student.	Exceeds Expectations Model is an accurate representation of the type of model chosen by the student.
Description Student gives an explanation of the location of the mountains and importance.	Needs Improvement Students only give the name of the mountain with no other information.	Meets Expectations Student gives a basic explanation of where the mountain is located and how it is important to the country.	Exceeds Expectations Student gives well explanation of where the mountain is located and why or how it is important to the country with shared information of the mountain.
