Creating a model of our Solar System
A Model of Our Solar System
The model can be a drawing on poster board or a mobile. It should include: the Sun, planets and one dwarf planet, labelled, appropriately sized, in correct order, colored correctly. Information needed for each planet: distance from the Sun, length of orbit and rotation, and one interesting fact. This is a project meant to not only see how students view the solar system, but to also showcase their creativity. Students are encouraged to use color and to get creative while learning.
