Homemade Musical Instrument Project Rubric 
Objective: Students will research how musical instruments make sounds, and how to make a homemade instrument. Students will construct and present a homemade musical instrument from recycled materials. Presentation will be approximately five minutes. Due March 13,2017.

The instrument reflects some alteration to an existing form to "make" the instrument, may be fragile, and may not stand up to being played more than once. There may be an absence of decoration.

The instrument reflects an existing form with little or no alteration. Pieces may be missing or falling off. Seems "slapped together" in a hurry. There may be a total lack of decoration.
