Group Project: MindMap This rubric is used in the grading of a group project where students had to collaborate to build a MindMap showcasing the process of a bill becoming a law. Rubric Code: JX89394 By RebaPetersen Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: History Type: Assessment Grade Levels: 9-12

	Good 10 pts	Fair 5 pts	Poor 0 pts
Participation Did each group member collaborate to create at least 2 cells on their own?	Good Group member created at least 2 cells of the MindMap on their own. Group members can attest to which cells each of them created.	Fair Group member created only 1 cell individually. Group members can attest to lack of participation of group member.	Poor Group member did not collaborate with group in creating any cells of the Mindmap. Group members can attest that this group member did not participate in the assignment.
Relevant Did the group member create relevant cells for the MindMap?	Good Group member created cells that were relevant to the next step in the process of law making. Steps were shown in correct order.	Fair Group member created relevant cells to law making process, but did not include them in the correct order.	Poor Group member did not contribute to the creation of cells, or created cells that were not related to the process of a bill becoming a law.
Presentation Did the group member actively present the MindMap to the class?	Good Group member actively participated with group in showcasing their MindMap to the class. Group member presented the cells he or she was responsible in creating.	Fair Group member participated with group in showcasing MindMap to the class, but did not present the cells he or she created, rather, he or she presented cells created by another group member instead of taking credit for their own cells.	Poor Group member either did not present MindMap to class with the group, or did not present any cells while in the process of standing with group at the front of the class.
