My Five Senses Poster
Students will to create a poster with pictures. The pictures will relate to the five sense i.e. a nose and a flower. Students will need to match the body part that would be used to identify the object. Students will glue the body part to its matching sense. Students will write a sentence to go along with each picture explaining how the picture matches with the body part. (i.e. “I smell flowers”) Students will then present their posters to the class.

Students presentation shows poorly exercised knowledge of the five senses. Student lacks in efforts to speak clearly and sensibly. Student needs persistent assistance from the teacher in order to complete the assignment

Students presentation shows no knowledge of the five senses. Student does not speak audibly and shows incorrect word order. Students can not get through presentation without aide from the teacher. Students work does not correlate with directed instructions.

Student shows extensive knowledge of the five senses and can thoroughly explain their poster using correct terms, regarding the five senses and their uses. Student presents clear understanding of the purpose of the presentation as well as the teachings of the five senses. Student accurately answers question about their presentation.

Student shows good knowledge of the five senses and can vaguely explain their uses. Student can provide an average amount of details and explanation of their poster. Student can answer questions about the presentation with little assistance from the teacher
Developing
Student shows a lack of understanding about the five senses and their uses. Student needs assistance from teacher to answer questions regarding their presentation. Student shows poor understanding of the purpose of the assignment
Needs Revision
Student shows barely any understanding of the five senses and their uses. Students can not answer any questions about their presentation. Student needs aide from the teacher throughout the presentation. Students work does not correlate with directed instructions.

Student displays accurate understanding of the instructions distributed for the assignment and exceeded all the main objectives of the project.

Student represents a familiar understanding of the instructions distributed for the assignment and hits a majority of the main objectives for the project.

Students work and presentation does not correlate with directed instructions. Student does not meet any of the main objectives for the project.
