Clearly demonstrates difference between warm and cool colors: Wide range of hues. Equally balanced ratio between warm and cool. Student has created lots of layer to get colors blends, tints, and shades.

Clearly demonstrates difference between warm and cool colors. Somewhat equal balance of warm to cool. A decent range of hues were used. Student has created a decent amount of layering colors to get blends, tints, and shades.

Somewhat confusing depiction of a warm versus cool section. Not very well balanced and a limited range of hues. Could have benefited from more blends, tints, and shades.

Student has purposeful texture with their oil pastels. The colors are vibrant and blended well. The student has flawless blends and colors without and smudges or errors.Oils were well controlled and steady lines around the image are presented. Student got multiple tints and shades.

Student has layered pretty well. There are some inconsistencies with texture and blends. The students has very little errors, fingerprints, or smudges within the medium. Student has a decent amount of tints, shades, and blends.

Student has a decent amount of texture inconsistencies. There are accidental smudges and marks within their oils. Could have benefited from more tints, shades, and blends.

It is evident student spent exceptional time and effort "getting things just right". Paper was taken care of really well. No damages whatsoever.
