Illustrate three states of matter	Well Developed Student is able to correctly illustrate and label each of the three states of matter. All drawings are clearly identifiable.	Proficient Student is able to correctly illustrate the three states of matter. The drawings are neat and clearly identifiable.	Developing Student is able to illustrate at least 2 of the three states of matter.	Needs Improvement Student is unable to illustrate the states of matter or was able to illustrate only 1 example.
Descriptions of States of Matter	Well Developed Student is able to identify 3 characteristics that describes each of the three states of matter.	Proficient Student is able to identify at least 2 characteristics that describes each state of matter.	Developing Student is able to identify at least 1 characteristic that describes each state of matter.
