Excellent Elements/Principles of Design The vessel is symmetrical and has a cleaned foot. The walls are even thickness - approximately 1/4 inch. It is glazed, the foot is free of glaze.	Good The vessel is symmetrical and has a cleaned foot. The walls are even thickness. It is glazed.	Fair The vessel is symmetrical and has a foot.	Poor The vessel is asymmetrical, may be missing a cleaned foot. Glaze application may be poor; glaze has run off of the bowl/cup. Other serious imperfections.
Craftsmanship 25 pts The wheel thrown vessel is symmetrical, even thickness - with a cleaned foot, neat glaze application.	Excellent The vessel is clean, symmetrical, even thickness - approximately 1/4 inch - with a cleaned neat foot. The glaze is applied neatly.	Good The vessel is clean, symmetrical, even thickness with a cleaned foot.	Fair Project finished but not very refined. The sides may be to thick, the foot may not be cleaned properly, the walls may be mis-shaped.	Poor Project finished with no attention to detail. Quickly thrown together.
