Social Studies Community Project - Grade 3 Social Studies Community Project - Grade 3 3rd grade has been learning about the various countries. Our project now, is to create a poster,flyer, paper, or diorama describing a country. This project must include at least 4 to 5 things about another country. It may include things such as the introduction of the country, the lifestyles of the people there,mthe culture and thier customs. This will be due on October 14, 2013. Content	To earn a "D" Project has only one thing that can be found in a country. It appears that only a small amount of work went into creating this.	To earn a "C" Project has only two things that can be found in a country. It appears that only a bit of work went into creating this.	To earn a "B" Project has only three things that can be found in a country. Quite a bit of work went into creating this.	To earn an "A" Diarama uses all four things that can be found in a country. The topic is clearly identifiable. Teacher can tell that a lot of work went into creating this.
Creativity	To earn a "D" No effort appears to have been put into creating the project. There seems to have been no thought or imagination.	To earn a "C" Very little effort appears to have been put into creating the project. There seems to have been little thought or imagination.	To earn a "B" A great deal of effort has been put into creating the project. You thought about what you wanted to present, you used your imagination.	To earn an "A" A lot of effort has been put into creating the project. You thought about what you wanted to present, you used your imagination and thought outside of the box. You created a unique diarama like no other in the class.
Overall Neatness	To earn a "D" Project is torn and is messy in appearance. There are signs of stains or stray marks.	To earn a "C" Project is torn. Materials appear messy.
