Native American Dwelling Native American Diorama Rubric for a project in which students have to replicate a North American Indian dwelling using materials that are authentic in representation and the structure is landscaped and scaled to size. It is well made and the outside landscape has been constructed.
Labeling	Poor There is no label present.	Fair The label contains incorrect information.	Good The label contains: 1. Student name 2. Name of tribe 3. Name of dwelling 4. Description of dwelling	Excellent The label contains all required information plus has extra information about the dwelling.
Materials Used	Poor Materials used were limited and not an authentic representation.	Fair Materials were somewhat authentic in representation.	Good Materials used were considerably authentic in representing the shelter's original construction.	Excellent Materials used were thoroughly authentic in representing the shelter's original construction.
Model	Poor Dwelling is incomplete, sloppy and little care was shown in the final product.	Fair Dwelling is somewhat complete, and some care was shown in the final product.	Good Dwelling is complete, landscaped, detailed with care and the final product has considerable visual appeal.	Excellent Dwelling is complete, landscaped, detailed with great care and the final product has a high degree of visual appeal.
Construction	Poor Student is not able to tell about the construction of the project and/or project was done by someone else.	Fair Student is able to talk a little about the construction but most of the project was done by someone else.
