Your print ads show that you applied the principles of design while using one or more elements effectively but may not be fully developed; showed an awareness of filling the space adequately. Shows that you understand your audience. Your point is somewhat represented.
Needs Improvement

Your print ads didn't meet the assignment adequately, shows lack of planning and little evidence that an overall composition was planned. Your point is represented but not clear for others to understand.

Your print ads show little evidence of any understanding of the elements and principles of design; no evidence of planning or effort.

You created a design with expression and understanding. You have thought out your design and understand what is needed to sell your product. There is color and definition as well as a well thought out purpose/concept.

Your ad is well thought out but missing a few aspects, such as key art elements, a basic understanding of product and demographic, or lack a direction.

You have created an ad the may be a bit messy with some spelling errors. You may have a few art elements represented, but they are hard to define, and are not easily seen. Your point is represented but not clear for outsiders to understand.
