You will put the elements on paper, your advertisement, that are listed and you need to sell your book to the class by skit, song, diorama, or a commerical.

Fiction Book Report

After reading The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, re-write an act or turn an act into a TV pilot using your own words.

Create a board game that reflects aspects of the entire novel. Questions that show insight will earn higher marks than those that are simply recall questions. Your board game can be based on one that is already in existence such as Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit. The final project should include connections between the novel and other real world or fictional experiences, plot points that show the plot progression, vocabulary words from the novel and their definitions and materials that reflect the major characters from the novel.

Students will create a song, poem or rap in which they give the plot of the story, "The Gold Cadillac." The song/poem should include the setting, conflict, resolution, and theme of the story.

Students must create a script about the book they are reading. The skit/Play will then be performed in class. (Students may act it out with fellow classmates).

The student will create a Diorama which includes a favorite scene in the book and an oral report describing the scene they chose (setting, important characters, how/why the scene was important to the plot), tell about the elements in their diorama and how they are related to the scene.

Design a New Book Cover: Use your knowledge of the story and characters to create a new book cover you think would entice readers to pick up this book and read it.

Students draw a scene from the story. They must write one or two sentences explaing the scene they drew.

Create an advertising campaign. This project will include three pieces. You must also turn in the brainstorming thumbnails, roughs, and your digital comprehensive.
