Menu/Nutrition Label	Beginning Student did not use food labels to complete the menu. More than 2 labels or pictures are missing.	Approaching Student used some food labels. However did not include one for each meal. Project lacked more than 2 labels or pictures.	Meeting * Student used food labels that showed breakfast, lunch and dinner. * Project was labeled, most pictures were colored.	Exceeding * Student used more than one label for each meal. * Project was labeled properly and all pictures were colored.
Effort/Neatness	Beginning Student created a menu with little effort. Menu lacked neatness.	Approaching Menu completed, standards minimally met. Overall, menu could have been neater.	Meeting * Menu was well done, student met project standards. *Menu was neat but some areas were hard to read or some pictures were not neatly done.	Exceeding * Menu exceeded expectations. * Student obviously spent a lot of time and effort into menu. * Menu neatly written or typed.Pictures carefully drawn or cut out.
Healthy Choices	Beginning Student included no healthy, nutritional meals.	Approaching Student included one healthy, nutritional meal.	Meeting Student included most nutritional, healthy choices.	Exceeding Student included all nutritional, healthy choices.
