Marshmallow Toothpick Structure Marshmallow Toothpick Bridge Building The students were tasked to create a multi-floored structure out of toothpicks and marshmallows that would withstand a teacher-made earthquake. Stability	Level 1 Structure was unable to stand independently.	Level 2 Structure was able to stand for a brief period of time without assistance.	Level 3 Structure was able to stand for a period of time without assistance.	Level 4 Structure was able to stand without assistance.
Structure	Level 1 Tower with no real design. Structure had no real height. Did not maximize use of materials.	Level 2 Tower with limited creative design. Structure had minimal height. (Less than 3 inches) Limited use of materials.	Level 3 Tower designed with good creativity. Built with height and is complete and stable. (more than 3 inches) Good use of materials.
