Creative application	Poor The writer does not include any new ideas. They basically restates what is found in the Bible with out adding any contemporary application.	Fair Writer demonstrates that she thought creatively about the question and states her ideas but it is not clearly.	Good Writer clearly states her ideas. Her application is thoughtful, creative and thoroughly explained.
Biblical Evidence	Poor Writer does not include Biblical evidence, or evidence provided does not support the writer's answer.	Fair Some Biblical evidence are included, but they are not thoroughly explained or does not support the writer's answer. Some evidence is cited.	Good Specific Biblical evidences are included. This evidence is specific and shows an understanding of the unit material and supports the writer's argument. Evidence is cited correctly.
Sentence/Thesis Structure	Poor Reflection does not answer the question and writer does not formulate an opinion. There are numerous spelling and/or punctuation errors. Sentences are not structured correctly. Errors interfere with understanding.	Fair Reflection partially answers the question and writer formulates an opinion but one that is unsupported or very brief. Student uses mostly proper grammar, including correct punctuation and sentence structure in most cases. Errors do not interfere with understanding.
