Speaks clearly and distinctly all of the time.
Good

Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time.
Fair

Speaks clearly and distinctly some of the time.
Poor

Often mumbles or cannot be understood.
PREPAREDNESS

Excellent

Speaker is completely prepared and has thoroughly researched the intricate details of his/her topic. Visual aid shows creativity and is neat and complete. Ready to present.
Good

Speaker seems pretty prepared but was unable to answer 1-2 questions which should have been researched for his/her topic. Visual aid has 1-2 errors.
Fair

Speaker is somewhat prepared but was unable to answer several questions which should have been researched for his/her topic. Visual aid seems incomplete.
Poor

Speaker does not seem prepared to discuss topic. Visual aid is sloppy, incomplete, not many pictures.
EYE CONTACT

Excellent

Speaker makes eye contact with audience member when asked question as well as other students within the audience (NOT TEACHER).
Good

Speaker makes eye contact with some people in the room on a few occasions.
Fair

Speaker makes eye contact with only one or two people on less than a few occasions.
Poor

Speaker does not seem to make eye contact with anyone at all. Overuse of visual aid as a focus.
