CONTENT 25 pts	Excellent 25 points Shows a full understanding of the topic.	Good 20 points Shows a good understanding of the topic.	Fair 15 points Shows a fair understanding of parts of the topic.	Poor 0 points Does not seem to understand the topic clearly or thoroughly. Confusing.
SPEAKS CLEARLY 25 pts	Excellent 25 points Speaks clearly and distinctly all of the time.	Good 20 points Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time.	Fair 10 points Speaks clearly and distinctly some of the time.	Poor 0 points Often mumbles or cannot be understood.
PREPAREDNESS 25 pts	Excellent 25 points Speaker is completely prepared and has thoroughly researched the intricate details of his/her topic. Visual aid shows creativity and is neat and complete. Ready to present.	Good 20 points Speaker seems pretty prepared but was unable to answer 1-2 questions which should have been researched for his/her topic. Visual aid has 1-2 errors.	Fair 15 points Speaker is somewhat prepared but was unable to answer several questions which should have been researched for his/her topic. Visual aid seems incomplete.	Poor 0 points Speaker does not seem prepared to discuss topic. Visual aid is sloppy, incomplete, not many pictures.
EYE CONTACT 25 pts	Excellent 25 points Speaker makes eye contact with audience member when asked question as well as other students within the audience (NOT TEACHER).	Good 20 points Speaker makes eye contact with some people in the room on a few occasions.	Fair 10 points Speaker makes eye contact with only one or two people on less than a few occasions.	Poor 0 points Speaker does not seem to make eye contact with anyone at all. Overuse of visual aid as a focus.
