Fair The story has a fair amount of misspellings, grammatical errors, and/or incorrect or a lack of punctuation; event sequence is relatively clear, with few issues; few descriptive details; the main idea is present but not completely logical.	Good The story has one or two misspellings, grammatical errors, and/or punctuation errors; event sequence is clear; at least one descriptive detail; the main idea is clear and defined.	Excellent The story has no misspellings, grammatical errors, or punctuation errors; event sequence is clear and logical; has more than one descriptive detail; the main idea is clear and defined, and can be seen throughout the events in the story.
