General modelling rules that should be applied every time when modelling.

Students will create a poster from a given real world problem that includes what the variables represent in context. Students will create two equations from the given problem and use a variety of strategies to solve the problem.

Reflections allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and "get the learning out" of these experiences. Through reflection, students explore problems and solutions encountered during their work, and connect their experiences to their learning goals. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection, which increases student learning.

This rubric will be used to assess how well students can articulate what they learned as well as their thinking about what they read. The teacher can then use this data to clarify misconceptions as well as for future planning. Students will strengthen their written responses in areas such as organization, support, clarity, and basic English conventions

A rubric to be used for any research driven project.

I take 12-third grade students everyday for guided reading. They also practice writing in their writing journals on a given topic or regarding a story we have read together. This group of students have trouble with starting sentences with a capital letter, writing proper nouns with capitals, punctuation, spacing between each word, etc.

This rubric is a basic guide to show what areas are the focus for grading for a reflective paper.

This rubric will assess the students ability to reflect and make connections on what they have learned in a lesson. Reflective journals should be approximately one page, double spaced, 12 font, with the proper headings. Side notes, drawings, diagrams etc. are allowed to gather your thoughts but please make sure to include writing with each. Remember to use complete sentences and proper grammar. Good luck.

I would keep this to 3 subtopics you are grading and three levels of grading (poor, fair, and good) just for simplicity of this activity
