Marketing Promotional Campaign

Window Display Diorama
Design a display window for a clothing store, hardware store, sporting good store, or florist. Create a three-dimensional model or diorama using a box to represent the display window. cut out photos or other images from magazines to represent the items on display. Type up a description of the model, explaining why you choose the items in the display and how you displayed them. Present your model to the class and explain the reasoning behind your design.

Early Texas Explorers Project
Students will work in groups, each with a focus on one early explorer in Texas. Students will need to know: 1. the country of origin 2. date(s) of exploration 3. 5 facts about the explorer or their exploration. Each group will present their information to the class using a visual aide for each area discussed. The visual aide can be a Power Point or poster.

Native Americans in Texas Project
Students will work in groups, each with a focus on one early Native American group in Texas. Students will research 1. how they obtained food, 2. weapons or tools they used, 3. clothing they wore, 4. how they governed themselves, 5. where they lived, 6. types of protection (houses). Each group will present their information to the class using a visual aide for each area discussed. The visual aide can be a Power Point, poster, or brochure.

It will have a key and legend that includes at least least 5 symbols defined and used. It will have a compass rose pointing the correct direction. It will be an overhead view and include a grid system.

Flow Map - Summary of story elements, SWBST strategy
The students had to create a flow map of summary using story elements. The first box has to include the main characters. The second box must include the problem. The third box must include the attempts to solve the problem. and the fourth box must be the solution to the problem. Also know as "somebody, wanted, but, so then..." strategy.
