This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Slide presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. The students will work with a partner to put together a poster and for display relating to the one of Ancient Wonders of the World. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of this project in a creative and colorful poster. They will also present their poster in a commercial format. The poster will be designed on a 30X30 piece of paper provided by Mr. Sexton

The students will put together an electronic presentation to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding their topic about the Victorian Era in the mid 19th century. The individual or group oral presentation must be aligned with their electronic presentation.

The PEER EVALUATION RUBRIC will be used by your classmates not presenting on the day you are. Your final points for this portion of your evaluation will be the average rating from everyone who hears your presentation divided by 3. The number of total possible points is 5. The TEACHER EVALUATION RUBRIC will be used by me. Your score will be the total points earned below divided by 1.8. The total number of possible points will be 15. The GROUP WORK RUBRIC PER STUDENT will be used by me to evaluate your progress. Your score will be be divided by 1.2. The total number of possible points is 10. The GROUP WORK RUBRIC AS A TEAM will be used to evaluate the groups the three days that I will see you working together. your score will be divided by 1.2. The total number of possible points is 10. The total number of possible points for the entire project is 40.

You are to evaluate your group members contribution throughout the entire project. This will be averaged with what the teacher observed during the same time period.

Students are to collect evidence of what they are doing within the cardboard challenge. I will be looking at research, sketches and notes that have been collected the past two weeks.

This is to keep students on task for the project assigned. It is a group grade.

Students must design a class related cover for their interactive notebook according to directions as a minimum.

This rubric will be used to grade the notebook that will serve as an ongoing portfolio for Civics class.

You are going to create your own government! You will write/create your own government purpose statement (i.e. the Preamble). You will then create a list of 10 rights for your people (i.e. the Bill of Rights). You will then write a persuasive speech to your citizens about why they should support your new government.
