Rubric used the students daily shop/class participation

I.B High School Theater Students Festival of One-Acts. This rubric is an evaluation of each student actor.

Students will spend the semester creating an original script as a final project. The script will be a stage play. Students are to choose a common high school issue like bullying or racism, and are given opportunities throughout the semester to write it.

Write an analysis of five scenes. In 5 paragraphs, explain the five scenes in correspondence to each visual interpretation. Add an additional 2 paragraphs for introduction and conclusion.

Student will create a design that demonstrates several requested elements of art (line, shape, color, space, form, space , and texture) as described on handout in a specified rectangle. The design should demonstrate an understanding of the elements of art. The principles of unity and emphasis will also be introduced. Various media are used to practice skills. Students are encouraged to incorporate symbols and elements that reflect their personality and interests.

This rubric is used for a one point perspective city drawing/watercolor painting

Students re-create a geometric design and apply Proportion to make the final work of art 200 percent the size of the original. Students have an opportunity to put several shapes on various planes as they have the opportunity to experiment with the Elements Of Art and Principles Of Design in a very unique way so that the final design expresses growth of new and innovative knowledge.

Students will create a mosaic work of Art in the Style Of Roy Lichtenstein.

This is the final term project for sculpture class. All work is due April 30th, no exceptions. Below is the rubric on how I will grade this project.

Create a 3-5 minute video documentary about a person who is a an educator at your school. You must be focused on either what their passions are or specifically why and how they became an educator. In your documentary you will give facts about the person's life, support those facts with interviews and visuals and most importantly, answers the Essential Question "What Makes a great mini-documentary?

Students will learn various roles in the film industry by creatively creating a board game that describes each role. * See attached document.

Using a digital photo of your self, grid the photo in a one inch grid. Then create a two inch grid on your illustration board to transfer your drawing to. After transferring your drawing using the grid, use two different mediums and color/shade your drawing. You will be graded on if you incorporate your own personal artistic style, use composition and design, craftsmanship, and effort.

Op Art-Short for Optical Illusions is art that confuses the eye.

Students are to create an original work of art that represent the Principle of Design Variety. .

Rubric for project

The students will film an interview with a friend or family member they are familiar with. They will develop interview questions and a strong POV.

Students will draw from life a pair of shoes.
