Reflection:
Near the end of my EDU 256 experience, I made a bulletin board that gave students information about opportunities for physical activity that were available to them during the summer. The bulletin board had information about sports camps and activities in a variety of different sports and at a variety of different ability levels.
Creating effective visual aids is an important skill for any teacher to possess because some students are visual learners and learn best by seeing things. Informing the students of physical activity opportunities outside of school helps keep them active and coincides with NYS Learning Standard 3a and NASPE Content Standards 3, 4, and 6.
