 2014-2015 Executive Board Positions:

 

 

President: Must have been on the CSUF SCTA Executive board for at least one year.  Is the public face of the Chapter, speaks at events, mediates with un-bias opinion, keeps the year organized to pass on to future President, communicates with all involved (board, advisors, and members), contacts advisor(s) a minimum of two times per month, works with other organizations and institutions, leads meetings, reserves rooms.

 

Vice President: Made available when President is notable to meet with the President before/after meetings and events to ensure efficiency, co-leads board meetings, co-communicates with board, advisors and memebers, prepares and emails agendas to Executive board prior to board meetings, take minutes during board meetings and emails to Executive board following meetings.

 

Financial Manager: Handles reimbursements and account deposits, oversees chapter spending, develops, tracks, and informs board about budget, plans and executes fundraising events.

 

Community Advocacy Representative: Coordinates service projects (planning and executing), coordinates advocacy events (planning and executing), creates flyers for service and advocacy events.

 

Membership Representative: Updates membership list on a regular basis, sends mass emails to inform members about events, manages stamp cards, takes attendance at events (Board member and general members), promotes general meetings via email and flyers, is in charge of socials.

 

Program Director: Posts flyers, maintains bulletin boards, coordinates advertiseing on campus (i.e. stakes, marquee advertisement and Gastronome), event planning (TTT Conference, Rick Morris event, etc.).

 

Social Media Director: Maintains Facebook page and chapter website, acts as Historian, takes pictures at chapter meetings and events.

 

All members are responsible for the following: Promote SCTA throughout the school year, required to attend 3/4 of the years events (including board meetings and general meetings), and participate in at least 8 class presentations per school year. Presentations can be done using the buddy system and should be done outside of board members current classes.
