A RECOMMENDATION LETTER FROM MY PRINCIPAL

February 12, 2007

I would like to recommend Mrs. Rachal Hyatt for the Eleventh Annual

Invitational Summer Institute at the University of Arkansas. This

teacher has been extremely creative in her teaching of reading and

writing to sixty fourth graders. Her methods have served to challenge

this group of students. Mrs. Hyatt’s passion for literacy has been an

inspiration to us all.

She has brought a new enthusiasm to her students’ literacy education.

Writing assignments are no longer boring. The writing projects have

been exciting for these young writers, and they have been eager to

publicly present their finished products.

Her passion, energy, and enthusiasm have brought a breath of fresh air

to our elementary environment. Because of these attributes, I would

highly recommend Mrs. Hyatt for this professional development program.

Thank you for your consideration.
