Throughout my time in undergraduate Nursing School I was able to take part in several health-ralted activities. These activities helped enable me to better succeed in the classroom by giving me hands-on experience and promoting my learning. Listed below are two of the activities I had teh opportunity to participate in.

In my coursework for Nursing 4530, Caring for the Community, I participated in a health promotion activity of Body Mass Index Screenings at a local elementary school.  The link below contains the journal reflecting on this activity.

In another class, Nursing 4550- Mental Health- I was able to partake in another health-related activity.  I attended a day of guided imagery training which enabled me to better care for my pateints.
