English 101 Portfolio
About Me
My name is Levi Cantrell. I’ve lived in and around Anderson, South Carolina most of my life. I like to travel though. I have been to several different states inside this country. I have also been to several different countries including: Ireland, Peru, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, Austria, Dominican Republic, and Italy. I was also a foreign exchange student to Germany. I love to hear and learn foreign languages. Other cultures fascinate me.
I switched schools many times while I grew up. I went mainly to Oakwood Christian School my younger years and Westside. I received my diploma from Westside High School, and I am currently a student at Tri-County Technical College. I hope to go to Erskine College my third year and Oral Roberts University my fourth year to earn my degree in the ministry.
I most likely will take a break from school for a year to live in Frankfurt, Germany. I wish to finish learning the German language and maybe live there permanently one day. I love the German culture and my ancestors were Germans. I wish to reverse their migration in a way.
I love music and instruments. My dad helped inspire me to play different instruments. I play drums and the mandolin, and I am learning how to play the synthesizer and the cello. I have a collection of musical instruments and equipment started, and I am hoping to have my own recording studio one day. I love folk, psychedelic, jazz, electro, punk, and alternative styles of music mainly. I try not to confine myself to one style, but I do not like the sound of modern country music in general.
