Reflection:
I know that if I show up to class I will be more likely to pass each class with at least a “C” this semester. That is what I have been doing and it seems to be working. There are times when I could not make it to class and the next time we had class I felt so lost. If I become more involved with the future educators, it will help me when I am trying to get a job in the school. I went to one meeting, but missed out on a couple because the downside to these meetings is that they are so long. The thing I learned from these goals is that if do your best and show up you will learn things that will help you out in some way later in life.
Long Term Goals:
·I want to become a first grade teacher by the year 2012.
·I want to be able to transfer to Anderson University with at least a “C” average in the fall of 2010.
Reflections:
If I follow my long term goals then I will have achieved my dreams. I have always wanted to become an elementary school teacher because I wanted to help the children get their education started. I am doing everything I possibly can to achieve these dreams, but sometimes I do not think my best is good enough for college. That is basically the only downfall to my goals; but when I start to feel like this I just think about all the children I will help in the do so distant future. To achieve my goals I will have to work really hard to make this happen. If there is one thing I have learned in life it would be that you never give up on your dreams, because where one door closes another one is standing wide open just waiting for you to walk through it.
