About Me

I am a US army disabled veteran married with 2 children and I speak fluent French, Spanish and English. I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. This desire developed during my experience working as a substitute teacher after I left the Army and I decided to pursue the competency/qualification that is required in order to assume such role. Now that I have attained that qualification as set by the state, I, along with my diverse background and strong familiarity with the Creole, French, Hispanic and English speaking communities, notwithstanding the teaching experience I’ve acquired through the substituting experience over the past years.

I enjoy working with "at-risk" children and I am a strong believer in careful preparation for it allows simplifying concept that is complicate sometimes.

Also, I am no stranger to the idiosyncrasy of parent with regard to their children since I have worked with both parent and their children for over fifteen years while coaching them tennis.
