Students need to investigate a natural disaster and a produce a case study in the form of a powerpoint of that natural disaster.

Jigsaw Base Group will choose a topic from reading to present to the class. The group has to prepare a 5-6 minute presentation Presentation will be presented by members chosen by the group, and will have supplemental poster or other visual aid.

Use movie making techniques to recreate a movie scene from any previously produced professional movie. Movie project should include a script, narrations, b-roll, interviews, full credits, or any other element to contribute to the final product.

Disease or Condition Project. Student group creates presentation project on disease or condition.

Objective: Students will be write up an essay/report about a natural disaster with visuals to present to the class. The project must include: - description of natural disaster - describe places or past events where natural disaster is likely to occur - 2 or more pictures/illustrations correctly showing the natural disaster - 4 fun facts about the natural disaster chosen

Students will present a lesson on an assigned body system. The lesson will include a slide presentation and an outline for class participation. This project is considered a test grade in lieu of a written test.

The Task: Each pair or small group of students will build 4 paper airplanes using only the materials listed below. One paper airplane should be designed to fly as far as possible (farthest distance). Build one other paper airplane to stay in the air as long as possible (longest hang time). One paper air plane designed to fly in a straight line (accuracy). Build one paper airplane to hit a teacher designated target (closest).

Design a vehicle which will travel the farthest distance on the ground using one balloon.

The student will create a Diorama which includes a landform.
