Art projects will be evaluated and graded using the following rubric.

Students will demonstrate mastery of floral design concepts (color schemes, size/proportion, harmony/unity, focal points, etc.) in decorating their grapevine wreath base.

Assessment of singular actor's performance from either a monologue, scene or production.

Students will research an uncommon health care career, creating an informational poster, paper, and will present their findings to the class. The poster should include: Title, job description, roles & responsibilities, essential knowledge & skills for that career, programs & paths of study for the career, personal traits that would be beneficial, license & credentialing requirements, non-educational job requirements, salary information, pros & cons of the career, and visuals.

The students were asked to choose one word that tied to the novel (character, character trait, topic, vocabulary word, etc). They were to illustrate this word following the Google Doodle model. They were to explain their choice and how it related to the novel on the back of the design.

Design a cover for your journal.

Students will follow directions, creating 8 lessons and 3 advanced items

This rubric will be used to evaluate the team role-play presentation.

Build a magazine cover of your choice. Your magazine cover should look like a professional cover include, a cover photo, a background (if the cover photo does not have a background already), real magazine title, minimum of five story line titles, a graphic (created by you) Issue date, issue price, UPC symbol and anything else that would make the cover realistic. Also, you will need to make an article that goes with one of the titles from the cover.

The student will create a slideshow presentation on the biography of a famous artist, find one of his/her works of art, discuss facts about the work, and explain the style the artist was famous for.
