In this project students will select a country to report on. Students will report on their countries culture, origins and everyday life. Students will list different cultural groups, foods, items and locations that are associated with their country.

You and your group are to assume the role of new owners of a food truck. The food truck industry is a growing field in the hospitality and tourism industry. To start your own company you must complete the following: Design the Truck, Select the Food and prices, Complete a Market Order for your food and paper products to make and serve your dish, You must make one of the dishes that you plan to serve to share with the class and judges.

Students will create a video of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of a dish from a Spanish speaking country. They will incorporate SPANISH formal commands per notes. This project needs to bd connect with your restaurant menu project. Max., amount of possible points 25 points.

Persuasive Argument rubric

This is a final project for French class. You will be writing a book summary in French using the vocabulary you have learned this year. The summary must be at least 5 lines long. The book must have a cover with a title and author and illustrated in color.

The 'book' must be at least 10 pages long and have 1 sentence per page. Each 'page' must be illustrated in color. The book must have a cover with a title and author. (Students may make the final copy of the project into a digital storybook, using Microsoft Photostory, or Powerpoint, or a similar program that is able to be played on school computers, if they choose not to use paper)

Students will know project expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, and time management.

Final Challenge: Design and create a school website based on project research and collaboration.

This rubric is designed for a performance assessment in which Gr. 6 students, in peer selected groups, will use learned vocabulary, grammar and language convention concepts appropriate for this grade level to present, in a unique and creative fashion, create a skit of a 'Au Restaurant' scene.
