A rubric designed to evaluate a group project for 6-8th grade. The project is to design a group poster describing the assigned communicable disease and an oral presentation.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Textbook Chapter presentation. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the presentation that will be taken into consideration when composing the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your destination have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Each student will create either a poster or slide show and present on a healthcare career of their choosing.

This rubric is to grade student's research of a human body system, describing it's function, the main organs or body parts involved and a major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. Students will describe how this body system works with other body systems to keep a person alive and healthy. A written report is to be included with at list of at least 3 resources used, one of which must be non-internet related.
