Rubric for hiring an Assistant Principal

Students will create a project using guidelines given in class.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Students will use a biweekly reading log to record time spent in the independent reading station. This log will reflect both reading comprehesion growth and vocabulary skills.

Student Rubric for progress monitoring

Students will create an interactive digital map using a tool like Google Earth, GeoGuessr, or ArcGIS. They will research different civilizations and their geographic boundaries, then mark these boundaries on the digital map. Each student will include annotations and multimedia elements to explain how these boundaries influenced the civilization's development, interactions, and conflicts with neighboring regions. The project will culminate in a collaborative online presentation.

Using your knowledge of how holidays come to be based on our unit on Halloween, design a holiday for your colony to celebrate.

In this project, you will discover facts about our solar system, and you will demonstrate your knowledge of the planets in our solar system. You will show the positions of planets. Additionally, you will give one fun facts about each planet.
