Welcome!  My name is Michael Ostrander.  I am currently in my 2nd year of teaching and my 1st year working at Belding High School.  I began my teaching career at Belding Middle School, teaching 8th grade English/Language Arts.  I am a 2001 graduate of Belding High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Michigan.  I graduated from Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, with degrees and majors in Education, English and History.  In addtion to teaching, I am the Head JV Football Coach for BHS, and have been coaching for 6 seasons.  I thoroughly enjoy my job and look forward to a long career in education!

On a more personal note, I will be getting married on June 14, 2008.  Shannon (my fiance) and I  are planning on going to South Africa for our Honeymoon...we can't wait!
