I am writing to inquire about any student assistance that the scholarship committee may offer to college-bound students.
I plan on attending Alvin Community College to study radio-broadcasting. I am currently working at an auto-mechanics shop, a job I have maintained for the past four years. I have done some volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and around my neighborhood. I believe that I work hard as I am making straight A’s as a senior in high school, which shows that I am responsible for myself. After college I plan on getting a job at KACC who seems to only want to help Alvin and surrounding communities, so through helping
KACC I would be helping serve the community I believe.
