Hello, My name is Terri Dennis and I am sponsoring the Little Scribes club because I love to write and believe children have a great capacity for imagination. I would like to promote the writing process in our elementary program in hopes that our children will also acquire a fun attachment to word play and dialogue through pen and paper. I am a Colorado Academy parent of two, a third grader and a sixth grader. While I have no formal background in teaching or writing, I have written a 300 page novel and have taken children's writing classes. I am currently an at-home-mom and attending graduate school for a Masters in Human Services. Writing can be an extremely enriching journey. I hope to meet and have your children in my club.
