For the past seven years, I have maintained an active role in various educational settings. As a student, a teacher and an administrator, I have held numerous roles from active learner to classroom leader. I have experience working with students from preschool-age children to adult learners. Not only have I worked with students in the public school setting, but also as a volunteer coach and camp counselor. With an extensive technological background, I am capable of bringing curriculum to an elevated level. |

Kankakee Community College Beginning on April 24, 2006, I accepted an administrative position with the local community college. My position, Coordinator of Instructional Development and Training, allows me to work with faculty and students regarding matters of online instruction and technological development. § Develop and train all faculty and staff on software initiatives: Microsoft Office, iTunes U, GroupWise, iClickers, and Datatel § Administer all online courses using the ANGEL course management system § Collaborate with faculty and staff regarding online course development, curriculum design and management § Oversee all undergraduate education majors in regards to transfer courses, certification testing, clinical site visits and e-portfolio development § Develop and implement workshops pertaining to faculty development: Instructional methods, curriculum, etc. § Work with committees to develop faculty in-service schedules, leadership retreats, and online curriculum standards § Contact person for trouble shooting areas of campus technology § Faculty for: Instructional Technology, Educational Psychology, and Introduction to Public Education Herscher High School January 2001-June 2006 During my tenure at Herscher I held many responsibilities including teaching: Ninth through twelfth grade American history, sociology, civics, American Studies, and physical education My faculty responsibilities included: School Improvement Team Chairperson, Reading Chairperson for Herscher High School’s North Central Association, Technology Committee member |
