Washington State Park Project This project is an in-depth study on Washington State. You will be creating a brochure, and then designing a tile to complete your project. You'll be learning about Washington state and creating your own brochure with Microsoft Publisher. Washington State Park Project Each student creates their own brochure after completing research tasks.
	I did Awesome!!! I followed all instructions and completed my task 4 pts	I really tried I really worked hard, but sometimes got distracted and was off task 3 pts	Fair I knew the assignment, but didn't follow all instructions. 2 pts	OOPS. I didn't do much OOPS. I really didn't get much done and didn't complete the assignment. 1 pts
Graphics/Pictures Graphics are aligned and look nice with the brochure	I did Awesome!!! Graphics go well with the text and there is a good mix of text and graphics.	I really tried Graphics go well with the text, but there are so many that they distract from the text	Fair Graphics go well with the text, but there are too few and the brochure seems "text-heavy".	OOPS. I didn't do much Graphics do not go with the accompanying text or appear to be randomly chosen
Writing - Grammar The brochure writing has a flow, and no mistakes	I did Awesome!!! There are no grammatical mistakes in the brochure.	I really tried There are some mistakes and spell-check was not used.	Fair Many words are misspelled, but you can still understand the meaning.	OOPS. I didn't do much There's many words misspelled and sentences are not complete.
Organization Your brochure looks and "feels" organized.	I did Awesome!!! Directions were followed, and the brochure not only looks nice, the descriptions are accurate as well.	I really tried Directions were followed, but some information is missing.	Fair Directions were not followed and the brochure is missing important, required information	OOPS. I didn't do much Brochure is not complete and directions were not followed
Group participation You worked independently and as a group member.	I did Awesome!!! You worked well in your group as well as independently while creating your brochure. You also assisted other students.	I really tried You did a nice job working in your group and independently. However, you needed a few reminders to stay on task	Fair You needed a few reminders in both your independent work and your group work to stay on task	OOPS. I didn't do much OOPS...you really had troubles following directions and didn't get your work done.
