Durability/Construction	Excellent The mask was built to last through multiple wearings or performances.	Good Most of the mask is sturdy, but when wearing it, there are a couple of pieces that might need extra care.	Poor The mask is flimsy and falls apart easily. It may not last for one wearing.
Creativity	Excellent Totally original design and elements. Mask successfully uses various patterns, intricate line designs and symbols.	Good Most of the mask elements are unique, however, a few may have been copied from the powerpoint. The mask includes some patterns, intricate line designs, and symbols.	Poor The mask has few or no unique elements. The mask includes few, if any, patterns, intricate line designs, and/or symbols.
Symbols	Excellent Student successfully employed 3 or more symbols on their mask to represent their personality and identity.	Good Student used 1-2 symbols on their mask and most of the symbols seem to represent the student's personality and identity.	Poor Student used no symbols on their mask.
Craftsmanship	Excellent Great care and time were given in the design of the mask. The elements and principles of art are clearly evident. The mask is aesthetically appealing and shows no flaws.	Good The mask design was well thought out and planned using the elements and principles of art. There are a few flaws as bumps, drips, marks, and added materials, but these do not detract from the overall look.	Poor The mask looks thrown together at the last minute. It appears that little design or planning was done.
Cooperation	Excellent Student is always willing to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Student is always in their seat and always uses studio time and clean up time well.	Good Student is sometimes willing to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Student is in seat when class starts and uses studio time appropriately.	Poor Student does not show a willingness to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. The student is often not in their seat when class starts and/or rushes to finish.
