Book Report and Presentation Rubric Book Report Rubric The student will fill out a book report form on a book of their choice. They will need to fill out Book Report form correctly as well as draw a picture of what they saw in the book. Student will then give presentations of their book to the teacher. Criteria A Thinking and Analyzing (Content of Report)	Exceeding 6 - 7 The report covers all of the necessary content in detail.	Achieving 4 - 5 The report covers most of the necessary content in detail: (at least 5 of the required parts).	Approaching 2 - 3 The report does not cover all of the necessary material.(Only 3 of the requires parts.)	Engaging 1 The report does not cover any of the necessary material.
Criteria C Producing Text (Presentation)	Exceeding 6 - 7 Student gave a clear presentation and showed excellent knowledge of book content. Also was very respectful and quiet during other classmates presentations.	Achieving 4 - 5 Student presentation was good and showed good knowledge of book content. Student caused very few disruptions during classmates presentation	Approaching 2 - 3 Student presentation was fair and showed some knowledge of book content. Student caused many disruptions during classmates presentation.	Engaging 1 Student presentation was poor and showed very little knowledge of book content. Student was very disrespectful during classmates presentation.
Criteria D Using Language (Writing) Picture and Neatness	Exceeding 6 - 7 Picture matches story content and is colored. Very neat. The report is written very neatly. Page shows a detailed effort.	Achieving 4 - 5 Pictures matches story content but not colored, or not very neat. The report is written with some messiness.	Approaching 2 - 3 Pictures does not match story content, not colored or sloppy coloring. The report is messy and hard to read.	Engaging 1 No picture attached, or sloppy picture, not colored and not does not match story content. Report is poorly written and very sloppy.
