Book Report Rubric Book Report Rubric The student will fill out a book report form on a book of their choice. They will need to fill out Book Report form correctly as well as draw a picture of what they saw in the book. Student will then give presentations of their book to the class. Content of Report	Excellent The report covers all of the necessary content in detail (10 of the 10 required parts).	Good The report covers most of the necessary content in detail: (at least 9 of the 10 required parts).	Fair The report does not cover all of the necessary material.(Only 8 of the required 10 parts.)	Poor The report does not cover most of the necessary material. (Only 7 or less then the required 10 parts)
Conventions of Report	Excellent The report has some some errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, or no errors at all.	Good The report has a few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling.	Fair The report has several errors in grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling.	Poor The report has many errors in grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling errors.
Neatness	Excellent The report is written exceptionally neat. Page shows detailed effort.	Good The report is written neatly.	Fair The report is somewhat messy and hard to read in parts.	Poor Report is poorly written and very sloppy.
