	Good 5 pts	Fair 3 pts	Poor 1 pts
Information	Good Student Summary adequately address the "Big 5" (who, what, when, where and how it impacts).	Fair Student Summary addresses two of the "Big 5."	Poor Student Summary does not adequately address the "Big 5" at all leaving the reader/listener guessing.
Delivery and Stance	Good Presenter was very impressive with a clear voice, eye contact, and full development of the news report.	Fair Presenter had a clear voice, made minimal eye contact with audience, and the length was satisfactory.	Poor Presentation was too short with little to no eye contact made with the audience.
Social Studies Connection	Good Student explained the news story's connection to social studies without prompting.	Fair Student made appropriate connection to social studies ONLY as a response to prompting by teacher.	Poor Student could not make a connection to social studies at all.
