Content
Floor Level
The author leaves out numerous events that are important to the timeline. The content information is limited or it is clear the author lifted significant content from another source and not written their own original ideas.
Approaching Level
Most events are included. Content information is evident but may need revision and editing. It may appear content may have been taken from somewhere else, but the author's original ideas are somewhat present.
Proficient Level
The timeline includes all necessary events and the author has clearly demonstrated their importance. The timeline clearly shows editing and revision. The author takes the content and clearly shows their original thinking.
Writing
Floor Level
The writing is limited and/or doesn't indicate effort was put forth. The timeline has numerous incomplete sentences, typos, and mistakes with capitalization and punctuation.
Approaching Level
The writing is basic but could use some editing and revision. There may be a few examples of incomplete sentences and mistakes with punctuation and capitalization, but it does not seriously detract from the timeline.
Proficient Level
The writing is clear and precise. There is no evidence of incomplete sentences, typos, punctuation, and capitalization. The writer has clearly demonstrated their editing skills.
Graphics, Photos, and Video
Floor Level
The timeline has no attached graphics, photos, or video for each event. Attached graphics, photos and videos may be present, but they are not enough and/or do not contribute to the event.
Approaching Level
The timeline has one or two graphics, photos or videos for each event. They contribute to the overall appearance of the timeline but the purpose of the content may be unclear.
Proficient Level
The timeline has at least three graphics, photos and videos for each event. Images are captioned. The images enhance the presentation. The purpose for including them is clearly evident.
