Acrylic Color Wheel Painting Rubric 
After a review of the color wheel by the teacher, the student will create a color wheel on paper using acrylic paint. The student will correctly mix and paint the correct colors on the color wheel in the correct position. In addition to the primary, secondary and tertiary colors the points of the color will contain the tint and the shade of each color.

The color wheel is drawn using an object from a magazine/internet that demonstrates some value changes. There are equal parts of positive and negative space.

The color wheel is poorly drawn and does not follow the instructions regarding the object having value changes. The object is very small and there is more negative space than positive.

Each tint and shade was not mixed properly. A minimal amount of tints and shades were created in each space.
Poor
