Moon Phase Flip Books
•Hand out 4 index cards to each student. Ask them to fold them each in half, hamburger style, and then cut them in half down the center line. •Hand out the Moon phase’s worksheet, have the students cut the phases out with the number attached, and then cut out each label. •The students will glue the New Moon picture on the front of the first index card and the New Moon label on the back of that same card. Then they will glue the Waxing Crescent picture on the front of the 2nd index card and the label on the back of that same card. Repeat this procedure until all 8 phase pictures and label are glued to each card. •Staple the top portion of the cards together.
