Objective is to try and obtain as smooth a gradation as possible in 7 steps from white to black.

Extraordinary: A

Student as spent the time attempting to obtain a smooth value gradation from white to black. This is evident by the 3-4 small visual jumps or walls.

Clean hard edge lines, no smudges.painted values are smooth solid value fills, can not see white of bristol board coming through.

Student took the time to obtain near perfect craft. all edges are extremely hard edge and white spaces do not have smears or smudges. Paint covers are smooth and solid, you can not see the white of the bristol board coming through. Mounting of scales is evenly measured and flat to matte board. has project label on back of boards.
