Content 3 pts	1 ( x 3 pts) - Initial post lacks insight, depth, or understanding of the topic - Replies lack logical arguments and/or clarification	2 ( x 3 pts) - Initial post is rather simple but shows some insight, depth, or connection to the topic - Replies show clarity but have a fairly mild voice	3 ( x 3 pts) - Initial post shows insight, depth, and a thorough understanding of the forum topic - Replies choose a side and provide ample clarification
Opinion/Argument 3 pts	1 ( x 3 pts) - Initial post does not express a personal opinion or is too off-topic - Replies do not challenge the original post or prompt new questions	2 ( x 3 pts) - Personal opinion is appropriately expressed in the initial post but not necessarily on topic - Replies play it safe by saying "good job" and "I agree" without pointing out specific reasons for agreement and/or disagreement	3 ( x 3 pts) - Personal opinion is appropriately expressed in the initial post and is clearly related to the topic throughout the post - Replies enhance the original post by asking new questions and facilitating conversation
